Music Miscellany for 3/19/2018

Kicking off Music Miscellany today is the laid back indie rock sound of Mute Choir with “Behind the Bars.” System Corporation brings an 80’s electronica/synth vibe on “Apathy is Easy.” Louisville’s own Frederick The Young bring the neo-psychedelia on their new single “Human Child II.” Wrapping up this edition is Black Light White Light with their brand of psychedelia, which invokes Magical Mystery Tour era Beatles in my mind, on their new single “Teenage Dream.”

Music Miscellany for 02/21/2017 Part I

Kicking off this edition of the Miscellany is ACES with “Just Cut It Out” a laid back, indie pop number with shades of 80’s pop influence. Up next is the rock sound of Balto on “Lost On the Young.” Next is some Americana twinged rock from Evening Darling and “Passenger Side.” Wrapping it up is a local, that is Louisville, favorite Frederick the Younger with “Leaves Are Gone.”

Music Miscellany for 1/11/2017 Part II

Now that we’ve caught up, time for new stuff. First up is the hip hop sounds of AMP with “Hail The King.” Then we have the grunge sound of The Black Clouds with “Self Control.” Local, or Louisville for the rest of the world, indie band Frederick the Younger are up next with “Tell Me.” Wrapping up this edition is Electric Floor with “Bluedive.”

Music Miscellany for 11/24/2016 part II

In this edition we kick off the music with some indie folk out of Wales in “Pwysau” from Adwaith. Following that is the synth-pop, some what island sounds of The Radio Dept. with “We Got Game (Henning Furst Remix).” The local, well local to me, rockers Frederick the Younger with “Horoscope.” Wrapping up this edition is Ballistic with “Dreams” a psychedelic rocker.
