Houndmouth – Say It – Video

Houndmouth has debuted a new video with the Nerdist for the song “Say It” off of the album Little Neon Limelight. Described as shot in a style of a David Lynch horror movie under Wes Anderson’s direction, it is certainly interesting to see the video interpreted against the song.

Saturday fun time for 1/24/15

The Super Bowl is eight days away so it just makes sense to have more NFL Bad Lip Reading.

Houndmouth has announced their new record Little Neon Limelight due out on March 17th.  Here is the video for the first single “Sedona.”

I came across this interview Nick Offerman did around the time of the release of his book Paddle Your Own Canoe.

Houndmouth – “On The Road” (Video)

Today is a momentous day.  Houndmouth is releasing their full length album ‘From The Hills Below The City.’  Local to Louisville, well across the river in New Albany, this band has seen a somewhat meteoric rise from four friends getting together in the fall of 2011 to play music, to earning local notoriety, getting signed to Rough Trade, releasing an EP, touring like crazy, recording an album, having the city of Louisville declare Houndmouth Day, having their album stream in full on Team Coco’s website leading up to it release, and having a busy year ahead of them.  They will be performing live on Conan Obrien to celebrate the release and playing at Bonnaroo later this month among other stops on their tour.

Awesome to watch this great band get some recognition.  This video was released as part of the Bonnaroo 365 series.
