Music Miscellany for 07/16/2014 – Part I

Kicking off this week’s edition is the alt-country band Lucero with “Sweet Little Thing” from their upcoming Live in Atlanta album out on August 12th.  This is the band’s first live album and the preview tracks sound really good.

Up next is some catchy dance pop courtesy of Lowell with “I Love You Money.”  Lowell’s full length We Loved Her Dearly will be out in September.

Rounding out this edition is Lewis Watson with a cover of Local Natives’ “Wide Eyes.”  Lewis recently released his new album The Morning.

Music Miscellany for 06/04/2014 Part I

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for a shot of new music.  Up first is Lewis Watson whose debut album The Morning is due out on July 8th.  This is the We the Wild remix of the first single “Stay.”

The Feed play a brand of lo-fi, fuzzy rock that falls on the same musical family tree as T-Rex and the White Stripes.  They are back with a new single “Outsider” the title track of their sophomore album due out in August.

Bleachers, Jack Antonoff of fun’s side project, have released their second single “Shadow.”  The anticipated album Strange Desire is due out on July 15th.
