Violet Sands kicks off this edition with an indie pop sound on “Drive.” Anna of the North brings the 80’s tinged synth pop on “Someone.” Raveen’s dream pop is lush and ethereal on “Always.” Wrapping up this edition is the alt-rock of The Tambo Rays on “Always Down.”

Music Miscellany for 7/19/2017

More music. More fun. Kicking off today is some indie rock from J Bengoy on “So Good (I Could Die).” Next up is EXES on “Cain” a laid-back, pop number with R&B overtones. Next is the garage rock inspired indie sound of Birds on “Get Away.” Wrapping it up is the synth driven pop of Galimatias on “Let Me Know.”

If you live long enough you see the music styles of you formative years reappear. This is dead up late 80’s pop down to the synth, but that isn’t a bad thing at all. “Chasing Your Love” from Lily McQueen from her forthcoming album Electric Love due out at the end of June.
