Celebrate Star Wars Day the Beatles way

If you haven’t seen it already, comedy duo Palette-Swap Ninja created a loving tribute to both Star Wars and Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band on Princess Leia’s Stolen Death Star Plans. Here is the video for “Luke is in the Desert.” The whole album is available as a free download on the band’s website. They’ve also posted a full playlist of videos for the album on YouTube.

Flashback Friday – You’ve been out too long Loretta edition

On this day in 1964 the Beatles landed in the US for their first tour.  A few days later they would play their historic performance on the Ed Sullivan show.

Here they are 5 years later in another historic, this time from a rooftop, performance with “Get Back.”
