RIP David Bowie

As a child of the 80’s my first exposure to David Bowie was through MTV and while this may not have been the first music video I saw by him, it is the first one that sticks out in my mind. It is most likely because of the short film that was occasionally aired instead of the video. Even at a young age my mind was captured by the idea that there is a bigger story that exists outside of the music video proper. While my exploration of his catalog hasn’t gone much past what would be considered his greatest hits, he was a talent that will be missed.
