First up, a parody of a trailer for the Wolf of Wallstreet. I present to you The Worf of Starfleet.
Up next Raiders of the Lost Ark recut as an action film in the style of the Bourne series. You should check out some of their other trailers as well.
I’m sure you’ve heard by now they are remaking Duck Tales with an all star cast including Danny Pudi, David Tennant, and Kate Micucci. Here is the case singing the theme song, you’re welcome for getting the song stuck in your head.
I’ve been a little hit or miss in the past few weeks, but let’s put that behind us and have a little fun. Kicking off the fun is a cut of the Supergirl Season 2 trailer with the iconic Superman score from John Williams.
Up next is the Animated Adventures of Indiana Jones. The internet has spoken, this series needs to happen now.
In some ways it seems crazy to release a short teaser for a short trailer, but that’s the CW for you. The whole clip/short is available through the CW app and it’s pretty fun.
It’s back, your weekly digest of fun videos that have made their way around the web and our hearts.
First up is the fan made trailer for an animated Firefly series. It manages to capture the heart of the show in 39 seconds using only music and animation. If the Batman ’66 cast can come together and do an animated movie, surely someone can get the Firefly cast back for this on Hulu, Netflix, or Amazon Prime.
Speaking of the Batman ’66 animated movie. A trailer has popped up for it with Burt Ward and Adam West. You can hear the age in Mr. West’s voice, but this is still going to be a fun movie.
And in case you missed it, the new Rogue One trailer has been released. I know this is almost two weeks old, but it gives a context for the other video linked here which is a recut of The Empire Strikes Back in the same trailer format.
While this site has veered away from the geek to some degree, it still exists at the foundation. Here is a short from Disney for The Force Awakens told in emoji. Spoilers if you haven’t seen the movie yet.
A couple of movie trailers with some commentary. Up first is the 2nd Suicide Squad trailer. Not new by any stretch, but I wanted to add my two cents to the conversation. The use of “Bohemian Rhapsody” is masterful. The trailer is cut together quite well. Unfortunately, and I guess I hope I’m wrong here, the trailer looks to be better than the movie can possibly be. I like everything I see in this trailer, but it doesn’t really make me want to see the movie.
Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice has yet to put out a trailer that makes me want to watch the movie. 0/2 from DC films. It is a shame because they’re doing a great job with their television division. The final trailer here gives us a better look at Batman in action and it honestly looks better than I would have anticipated, but not enough to make me want to watch the movie.
However, “Bastille Day” starring Idris Elba looks to be fairly entertaining.
