Music Miscellany for 05/07/2014

This edition kicks off with a rock piece from The Feed called “Rexy” that has a definite 70’s/T-Rex feel to it.  It is from the album Outsider which will be out in August.

Up next is some more rock’n’roll straight out of the 70’s, though with a bit less glam and/or art rock influence.  It is 1,2,3 with the song “When the Levee Broke at the County Fair.”  1,2,3 is releasing their sophomore album Big Weather on the 27th.

This edition closes out with a poppy dance number by Shana & the Hooligans titled “Get Gone.”  It is her first single, hot on the heels of a collaboration with Thievery Corporation.
