That’s Jenny & Tyler and they have a new single out on iTunes( http://bit.ly/jtsos) a cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Sound of Silence.’  All proceeds from the sell of the song go to the ongoing fight against human trafficking.  The song broke into the top 10 of iTunes singer/songwriter chart yesterday and they’d like to keep the momentum going for the cause. Check it out.

-Marc Gunn, producer of the Celtic Music Podcast and editor of Celtic Music Magazine has compiled the annual St. Patrick’s Day mp3s  available for download here.

-Katie Herzig is currently on tour which isn’t so much the news, but if you are local to Louisville she will be playing at Headliner’s on May 19th.  Ticket information is available here.  Other tour information, including dates and venues, is available here.

-Also local to Louisville a number of bands are offering up house concerts for auction to support the G.O. Ministries.  Check it out here.  The auctions appear to end this weekend so bid early, bid often.

-Lastly for this week, the original programmer behind the original post-apocalyptic Wasteland is turning to the crowd to fund the sequel.  The good news is that has achieved it’s funding goals in the past three days, but you can still contribute at the Kickstarter page and help make it a multi-platform reality.
